 Shipping From Shop Update: As most of you know the post office has not been at its best of late, but (IMO) is still the best option to get small letter sized packages shipped. That being said I am suggesting that everyone who either wins a raffle or buys single cards from us upgrade from the normal $3 tracked shipping, I have offered since we opened, to an $8 priority shipping (which includes tracking, insurance, and is usually there faster). Patreon members get a discount on shipping based on their level, Patreon.com/daBasementGames. Of course pick up is always encouraged and free (if you are local to the Brooklyn area). I will still offer tracked only packages but recommend the added priority insurance for any card valued over $50. And you can always add more insurance to cover the value of the card if you prefer.  Hey friends! This has literally been weeks in the making, primarily because i'm stubborn and slow to learn how to make my own website, but alas, here we are! So why did I feel there was a need to have our own (dot com)? Primarily because Facebook, though a useful tool, is limiting in many regards when it comes to utilizing (non facebook) apps, and then there's the censorship.. i feel as an adult if i wanna say "fuck the current EDH banlist", I shouldn't have to fear going to 'facebook jail' for it; Oh and boobs, occasionally in this blog i may share art that facebook finds offensive like this..  There, a nude fairy holding a bubble, doesn't it feel nice not being censored because people are squeamish? And this is actually on point with how i run 'da shop' and our 'social gaming club'. I have no interest in coddling children or the politically correct. There are millions of other places you can spend your time and money if you are offended easily by remarks made in jest, game-friendly banter, or nakedly candid political conversations. I do however have zero tolerance for racism, bigotry, or just intolerance, none of those features make you a more fun or interesting player. Oh and speaking of 'good player behavior'.. don't cheat. I strive to create a community that is fun, engaging, and honest, don't be player that has to cheat to win, no one likes that guy. If ya win ya win, if ya lose that's okay too.
